August photos

Went to see Mr. Springsteen last night. It was a freakin’ great show!!! My husband Shea and i took Josie and she loved it. Shea and I saw him in Nashville about 8 years ago and I think it was even better this time. It’s amazing that the man is 60 years old and still rockin’ and rollin’ like that. The highlight of the night was Born To Run.We didn’t get home until 1 a.m. and Jo was late to school but it was well worth it.The only complaint that I have is why don’t they sell bruce onesies or toddler t-shirts. You can get them at Radiohead shows. You can even get them at Wilco shows,so why not Bruce. Oh well Millie gets the shaft once again.
Onward…
The girls spa night at the Childrens Museum seemed to be quite a hit! There were tons of moms and daughters there. Here are some pics from it. The fairy outfits weren’t my idea but they turned out cute.
Glad to have been able to have been a part of it!
Here is little miss Charlie. I met her in my daughters Kindermusik class. She is a bundle of energy, and so cute. We went to the farm first, and then we went out to her house to get some pictures of her with her horse Sassy.
Okay here is Sassy-this horse LOVED Charlie! I swear this horse was like a huge dog that just followed her around. I’ve never seen anything like it!
Mom Staci giving Charlie a toss. It’s funny Charlie was actually one of the names i had picked besides Millie. It’s such a cute name for a girl (or boy).
Next in the lineup we have the 3 Gordon girls. First up is Lakeland.

Next is Brooke.
Last in the lineup is River. She is definitely the firecracker of the family!
Thanks for a great session girls!

Just sitting here wiping the blood from my probably permanently scarred top lip. I was lying on my back on the floor talking to Shea and Josie.I have this habit of throwing a tennis ball up in the air and catching it while i am talking. There didn’t happen to be a tennis ball readily available so i used the next best thing-a magic 8 ball. Oh they weigh in at about 2 pounds. I threw and caught it successfully twice-on the third toss-bam! right on my top lip. Let’s just say I didn’t get much sympathy at all.
Tara and Tyler were married here in Cookeville on July 19th. Here are a few favorites…
Tara was a blast to work with. Her bridesmaids were hilarious (Joanna and Kelsey!)
We started out at Bob and Kat Rusts house in White Plains.
Tara and most her bridesmaids play college softball, so they wanted a picture in their cleats.
The girls dancing a jig while waiting.
We had all been sweating so much from being outside, everyone had to freshen up.
They released the doves…
This one didn’t want to leave!
The golf ranger was hot on their tail, see him back there?
And they lived happily ever after.
The last one i will post today is Emily’s senior pictures…
Have a great rest of the week!

Hola out there. Hope everyone had a grand weekend! I had a wedding in Nashville at the beautiful Hermitage Hotel. It is quite a sight. The details in it are truly unbelievable. Be looking for those pics in a couple of weeks. I spent the majority of the day Sunday doing shoots. Look for little ella, bridal portraits of Nikki, and the hilarious four siblings (no names yet, it’s a secret) who are were having pics done as a surprise for their mom. Now onward…
I started out the a.m. with the Bodsford family. When I first took pictures of them they had one bebe, now three! It was good to see them again.
Here is baby brother Sam
Tiny getting a little TLC from Sam
Little miss Ella-she was 6 moths old when i first met her.
Sister Liz
Here is the reflection theme going on again-I suppose there is some deep subconcious meaning for my love of those kind of pictures!
Sam in his dads reflection
Thanks Bodsfords!
After the Bodsfords i drove up the road to meet with the Buck family-all of the exteded family was in. First we started with baby William.
He was one happy baby…next we moved on to sisters Racheal, Emma Kate and Sarah-(Emma Kate is in the front).
Sarah
Thanks Kaci and Audra.
After leaving the Buck household, I headed up to Dale Hollow Lake to meet the Sells family at their boat. We took a few on the houseboat then went out on the runabout.
Brad and Emma.
Emma.
Michelle braiding Vada’s hair.
Nothing better than being smack dab in the front of the boat with the wind in your hair!
Vada is demonstrating her skiing experience in this photo.
This rock was a seven skipper.
More to come later this week! So check back!

Lordy July was a busy month-it was great though. I have to share this-not that anyone cares but i have just discovered facebook and i am amazed at the people that i know on there. I found a roomate of mine that i used to live with when i worked at Disney World. That was in 1994 so that was the last time i spoke with her. She lives in Norway (yes she’s 6 feet tall, blond hair, blue eyes, typical Norwegian) anyway i found her in two minutes on there! We have been catching up.
Moving on to pics…
Kristen and Toby were married in Crossville on July 12th. Kristen used to teach at Avery Trace Middle School. She and Toby recently moved to Memphis where she has already gotten another teaching position and Toby is an I.T. analyst. The weather held out for us the whole time! It only rained during the ceremony (which was in the church).
The rings on a rose stem.
I told you i was going through a reflection phase. This was one of the puddles after the rain.
I love this one. On the way to the reception we stopped in town for a few shots.
The reception was held at Deer Creek.

No color enhancement on these eyes-they are just that blue!
This was my artsy fartsy shot for the day.
Well here’s another.
Here are the car decorating culprits-i can’t show you what was really on the car! The love on the window above will have to do.
Thanks Kristen an Toby for a great wedding!
Here we are with little miss Morgan-I picked her up at her mom’s store and we headed off to a few fun locations.
She is such a nice girl. She just started eighth grade this year.
We started at her families farm, then we headed over to Jere Whitson park.
Thanks Ms. Susan and Morgan Chaffin!
Next is sweet baby Addison-what a sweetie pie. She is 3 months old.
For this next session i drove to Manchester to do senior pictures with Sam,Tyler and Brian. Sam is my second cousin and Tyler and Brian are his football buddies.
This is Brian Obama. Just kidding about Obama, he is a huge Barack supporter.
Cousin Sam.
Tyler.
We started out at Rutledge falls. It was gorgeous there but while we were driving through town i spotted this cool warehouse. Turns out that is where Tyler works.
After the warehouse we went to the stadium to finish up.
I’ve got to get to work on wedding pictures-i’ll post more later this week.
