JUNE PHOTOS AND HAPPENINGS

Howdy-went to see Eddie Vedder play at the Ryman last week. He was incredible. I would have had some great pictures to share with you but they confiscated my camera the minute i walked in the door. Oh well…I guess i’ll just have to share others with you instead. 

Josie has been at camp for almost a week and 1/2 now but i wanted to show you a few pictures of what we have been doing for the first part of the summer. Lemonade anyone?

This was the day of the Golden Eagle scramble and they were set up right at the entrance of White Plains. They brought in $140! All going to the animal shelter.

THE BIG TICK TOCK

Millie my 2 year old is obsessed (in a rainman sort of way) with the big clock at Derryberry Hall. We have been walking up there on a nightly basis to listen to it dong. This was the night before Jo left for camp and we all ventured up to the quad for some fun.

ANNA AND JASON

Anna and Jason were married on Sunday May 24th at the Belle Meade plantation in the boxwood garden. When we arrived there was a torrential downpour right at the appointed picture time! It finally died down and turned out to be a perfect overcast day (optimum picture weather). Anna and Jason will be moving to Cleveland Ohio where she will be doing her residency in orthopedics (just like her dad). The wedding was beautiful and everyone there was so much fun to work with (especially the groomsmen)!

Every groomsman ( and the groom) in this wedding could DANCE and i mean GREAT too!

 

MILLIE BUG

A couple of Saturdays ago i had a few hours before my wedding so Millie and i walked up to Ralph’s to get a nut. Memories.

I don’t think we are ever going to get rid of the passie.

June 11

Morning! Hope this day finds everyone happy and healthy! All is well here. Just trying to get all of my work done for the day before we hit the pool! Let’s start today with Kelly and Andy. They will be getting married in a couple of weeks. We started out their session at Tech (they are both alums) and while we were scouting out places, Andy informed me that he had been accepted into Med. school at Virginia Tech. They will be moving there soon to start their journey. Congrats you two!

After we finished at Tech we moved to a great barn in the middle of town that i had taken pictures at earlier that week! Thanks Kayse Buck Martin!

Tom is flippin hilarious! I have been so fortunate lately to have grooms or fiances’ with such great senses of humor! He and Hillary will be having their wedding in a couple of weeks in Shelbyville. Can’t wait! I met them in Murfreesburo for their engagement session. We started out at an old historic park there and them moved to MTSU (Tom is the assistant basketball coach there). They’re a great couple!
