SEPTEMBER HAPPENINGS AND SESSIONS
September 1st, 2009Hello everyone! Hope this Tuesday finds you happy and healthy (no swine flu please!) Before I start my editing this a.m., i thought i would post a quick blog. Robyn and Seth were married on June 27th ( i am so behind on posting weddings!!!) in Crossville on Lake Tansi. It was a beautiful location! The maid of honor was the lovely Ms. Sarah Henson, who also happens to be one half of Tomorrow’s Memories Photography here in Cookeville. It was so nice to finally meet her and her hubby Zach!
Okay, the first picture is Seth having some touch up base put on. “Why?!” you ask. Well, he and his best man had gone out on the lake tubing early that morning and yes, he was burnt to a crisp.

They decided to do all of their pictures before so here they are seeing each other.

Oh yeah, did i mention it was hot? It was!

A prayer with the groom, his dad and the minister.

And off they went out into the night!
WORKSHOP 2
A couple of weekends ago I attended my second workshop with Gray Photography in Nashville. I loved it!! I learned so much and had a great time to boot! Met some great photographers and learned lots from Zach and Jody. I thought I would post a couple of pictures just to show you. It is a huge departure from my style, but it is always good to step out of your comfort zone and do something a bit different.

Elly and Lindsay were such great models!

Gotta go get busy on Julie-Beth and Brandon’s wedding. Check back for Kelly and Andy’s wedding next time!

I know I said my next post would be Robyn and Seth’s wedding, but before I go out to my next session, I wanted to post some Callahan kid pictures. On Fridays I am going to try to post pictures and events relating to my sweet and silly girls. Hope you enjoy these!
We will start with Miss Millie Callahan….here she is on the zipline that we have safely rigged with the baby swing. It’s a hit.

This is her Halloween costume for this year. She is going to be a lollipop guild munchkin, Jo is going to be Dorothy and I am going to be the wicked witch! Not creative but we are going to look good! This is really supposed to be a garden gnome outfit but it will work.

My Jo Jo.

Yum, Gran”s spaghetti!

Please don’t take my picture again, mom.

Last night Josie had a “social” at her school. The theme was a blast from the past. Very fitting for those of us who grew up in this school as the Cookeville Jr. High grades 7-9….ahhh, those were the days. Remember those dances in the cafeteria?

Jo is the second from the left.

Have a great weekend! Robyn and Seth are really coming up next time!

Hope everyone out there had a great Labor Day! I have been a little behind on posting pictures! Let’s get right to it! Hillary and Tom were married in Shelbyville on June 20th. Oh my Lord it was hot! By the time Sarah and I got there the thermometer on my car read 102 degrees! We had to do all pictures inside due to the heat! Here you go!

Very Blue.

Tom and Amanda having a brother sister moment. Awwww.

And they lived happily ever after!
HUDSUN TURNS UNO!
Hudsun is so cute and fun to photograph! Check him…

THAT FACE!! IT’S THE BEST!!!!

He took a swim, had some milk, enjoyed his first chocolate cupcake then, a quick bird bath in the kitchen sink!

Check back for Robyn and Seth on their wedding day. Oh and her bridals too!

What a crazy busy weekend!!! I am recovering after having sessions on friday, a HUGE wedding on Saturday (the fuzz finally had to put an end to it) and a photo workshop in Nashville on Sunday. Oh happy September BTW. I just wanted to post just a few pictures from the workshop (which i learned tons at) on Sunday.
The ever so lovely Ellie. Model extraordinaire.

FYI these are straight out of the camera. No edits. Yee-Haw.

God bless her. She had to trot around Nashville for 3 hours in those 4 inch heels.
