BACK FROM THE BRINK

Well, it has been stomach virus central here at the Callahan house. It started with Millie on Thursday, going from saying her tummy hurt to reenacting the Exorcist in my bedroom. She was fine by Friday morning then I started feeling queazy that afternoon.It hit me with a vengeance.I haven’t been that sick in years! Josie and Shea thought they were in the clear… but then it hit them late that night. So we were all in bed sick except good ole’ Millie who started the whole thing. Darn kid cooties. Needless to say, we farmed her out to the grandparents to spread the love. WOW it was B-A-D. Sorry to my clients for having to cancel on you but-you didn’t want this one! 

I finally got back to work today. I had finished my shoot and was sitting down to read my Time magazine when I heard this little voice say, “Mommy! How does me look?!”  

All I need is a good crack-up for forgiveness. Let’s see if this still works when she is 13.
