Exciting and surprising news! I received an email from “The Knot ” wedding website a couple of days ago. One of my summer 2009 brides had entered her wedding in the “Real Weddings” contest the site is hosting. Low and behold out of 15,000 weddings, hers was picked by the editors as one of six finalists to be featured in the spring issue of The Knots national publication!! As you might recall, her wedding was the Beatles themed wedding. Her dogs Penny Lane and Eleanor Rigsby were right by her side for the ceremony. Here are some pictures to refresh your memory…

BOBBY AND MARTHA

These two are going to be sooooo much fun to work with!! I can’t wait! I met them in Smithville and followed them to Rock Island State Park where Bobby had proposed to her. Here are a few funny favorites from their session…

You will probably find this picture strange, but I find it hilarious. A little old fashioned trick of the eye perspective shot. Reminds me of a little leprechaun on her hand.

    Aww, I love these! As we were looking at them my mom says, “Hey, she called Bobby a leprechaun. I like this woman.” LOL. She and Bobby really do get along, they just really like to pick at each other as well. :)
