I have to put these on my blog! I was sooo honored to document the birth of little Parker Burke Witt. Born to Liz and Daniel on Tuesday February 22nd at 7:40 p.m. He weighed 7lbs.6 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. I have not taken pictures of a birth in about 2 1/2 years so I LOVED THIS! It is by far the biggest day in a persons life. Yes weddings are special, but there is NOTHING that compares to giving birth to your baby. It is such a surreal, emotional and beautiful moment. I really don’t get emotional when taking pictures of most things but this one caused a few tears.
I had arrived just as the pushing had started.Brings back memories for most of us, doesn’t it?
Liz did such a great job! Daniel was there to sweetly encourage her. They are such a great couple! I actually met them when I did there wedding several years ago. Love you guys!
The time was drawing near for the actual birth, so enter Paige Gernt MD, Ob and CL(Cheer Leader). Anyone that has had her for a doctor knows how upbeat and encouraging she is. It was good to see her again!
The big moment was finally here.
What a precious bundle of baby joy.
At one point Liz looked up and said ” I can’t believe I just had a baby.” It is an incredible thing. Mom’s, don’t you remember feeling that way? You had carried this little person around inside of you for 9 months, daydreaming about what he or she was going to look like and then ,the moment is there. The emotion is overwhelming.
I followed Daniel into the waiting room where there were at least 20 people eagerly awaiting the news that all was well.
Then ALL of them were escorted back to meet Parker. Liz’s mom was the first one in the door.
A group prayer was said…
Then as quickly as everyone came in, they left…and then there were three. A perfect little beginning for a happy little family.
Congratulations to the Witt and Maberry families! Thank you so much for letting me be part of this day.

Amy, This is so wonderful. I appreciate this so much. I am Elizabeth’s cousin and could not be there for the wonderful event but this allowed me to feel apart of the wonderful time. How beautiful and sweet. God is so wonderful with his work. Nothing can nor no man can compare to God’s creation. Daniel and Elizabeth thank you for sharing this with all of us. I will be praying for all of you. Parker is beautiful. Love you all Lisa Hammons

Amy, you captured the emotion and it jumped right off the photo into the heart! I don’t cry much either but I shed tears looking at the pictures of this baby’s birth and the deep feelings of love and joy all over the parents, family and friends faces.

These are the most beautiful pictures that brought sweet, happy tears to my eyes. You captured what a birth of a child is-a precious blessing. Looking at these, I felt like I was in the delivery room. Great job!
