This venue is by far my top pick for a wedding. I have not had an event here in quite a while, so it was great to get back. If you are planning your big day for next year, you should most definitely check into this location! Linda and David Wooten are the owners and they are fabulous to work with! As you check out the photos of the food, flowers and decor, keep in mind that Cedarwood provides it all!

Sarah and Jake were such a wonderful couple! I loved working with them! Thanks you all for sharing your day with me!

Fall mini sessions!!!

I know this is short notice, but i have had several people ask me if I was going to do anything for fall. Saturday September 11th and Sunday September 12th is the only weekend that I can swing! The session pricing will be same as the Lollipop Shoppe sessions. The sessions will be 45 minutes instead of 30. I would love to see some Halloween costumes too! This past weekend was such a great one! I had my 20 year reunion which was a blast! It was so great seeing everyone and catching up. I hated for it to end! I had a wedding in Nashville on Saturday (which was beautiful, pictures coming later) and I raced back (in the massive storm) to get back to the reunion. I won’t bore you with pictures of that (your welcome).

So here is what i’m gonna do. I have so many sessions to post that i am going to TRY to post one a day until I am caught up. Yes, i said try. So here is the first..

What is with the heat!!! I am still recovering from my morning walk! Well anyway, on to Jake and Sarah- they will be having their ceremony next weekend at the beautiful Cedarwood manor in Nashville. I’m sure it will be beautiful! For their engagement session we went to a few different outdoor spots, then decided to try the new Cream City ice cream shop. The ice cream is excellent!

These two will be tying the knot on July 10th here in Cookeville. For their engagement session Jenna wanted to go over to Granville Tennessee where her grandfather grew up. It was a quaint little town but my favorite spot was an old abandoned school that we found right out of town. Check those out towards the bottom of the post.

Did I mention that it was INSANELY hot this day?
